ImperialistBunny Music Video

A music video/stop motion short film after a sudden end of my longest most personal relationship.

Synopsis: After lifelong partner ImperialistBunny ends things over text, Fight, Flight, Freeze, and Fawn navigate grief and filling the gaps she left behind.

I created this after studying the four responses to fear (Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn) in a psychology class, and of course after the insane chat-generated text ImperialistBunny and her girlfriend used to end her friendship with me, which is voiced word for word in the music video. I also did genuinely receive the text in my Forecasting Time Models class.

I made this out of hurt and anger, both at her for her weakness in not even doing it in person and myself for letting it destroy me, which it did for a while in ways I can't admit. Now I am at a point where I can't even recognize the person I was when I worshipped her, which is why I feel comfortable releasing it.
